Did ever they love, those that did not love at first sight?
Did never the waking sleep of falling so terribly,
So dangerously into certain uncertainty,
Bless the lives of those so reluctant in their passions?

Poor souls are there’s that know not the depths of adoration,
Whose obsessions were never sparked on first meeting,
That initial agony in locked gaze and trembling fingers.

Oh! Pity, the ordinary folk who never loved!
Their strong wills formidable from the lusty tide that rocks us so,
We that lack sanity or sense,
We that adore strangers and break our hearts over beauty.
